It’s a Big Day at CanaleComm!

Dear Friends,

I am reaching out to share with you an exciting update on the next chapter of Canale Communications. I started CanaleComm over nine years ago, shortly after my first daughter was born. My goal was twofold—to build the leading life science communications firm on the West Coast and to be an empowering, entrepreneurial example to my daughter.

I am proud to say that now, almost 10 years and another child later, these goals have been met. But together, the CanaleComm team has achieved so much more than that. Our wildly talented team comprises nearly 30 communicators who are partnering with life science companies, both big and small, in California and beyond. We’ve fostered a culture of excellence, and grown from colleagues into family.

Looking towards our next decade, we sought to expand our platform in order to offer more to you, our valued clients and partners.

I am proud to share that through an acquisition by UDG Healthcare plc, we are becoming a part of Ashfield Healthcare Communications, one of the world’s largest networks of award–winning healthcare communications agencies in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

In order to support our clients’ and our own growth, we needed to expand our offering. Ashfield’s global platform offers medical affairs, publication planning, patient advocacy support, online advertising and marketing support for commercialized products—all services that are very complementary to what we do here at CanaleComm.

I will continue to serve as CEO of CanaleComm and our leadership team, brand and the day-to-day work will remain the same. We will continue to provide the same great service that we have delivered over the last decade. What’s different is that CanaleComm now has access to UDG Healthcare and Ashfield’s insights and subject-matter depth that span a multi-national healthcare services enterprise.
