Kelly North is an Account Associate at CanaleComm. A life science communicator of many interests and talents, Kelly harnesses her passion for business and communications to develop impactful media content and campaigns that achieve desired results for clients across the industry.
Kelly joined the CanaleComm team in June of 2019 after graduating from the University of San Diego (USD). She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology, with an emphasis in molecular biology, as well as a minor in business administration.
During her undergraduate years, she served as a senior research assistant for the renowned Shiley Center for Science and Technology, where she utilized various molecular techniques to isolate, extract and purify DNA. She presented this research, while also writing, editing and preparing research proposals for journal publication.
Always striving to be well rounded, Kelly also served as the vice president of the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, worked for the USD Alumni Association, was selected as a tour guide for prospective students and parents and was the goalkeeper for the women’s university club soccer team.
When not immersed in scientific research and technology, Kelly enjoys hiking one of her favorite trails, beach time with friends and admiring one of the many spectacular San Diego sunsets.
